From an original watercolor painted in 2008. Bees are very cool and important creatures. I love bees, but their existence seems to be in peril from time to time. That is why this watercolor has an entomological feel to it, like an insect pinned to a display board. And it has a Winnie the Poo reference about the honey tree.
