Some years ago a gun was discovered in a field near Auvers, France, where Vincent Van Gogh was known to paint. Most experts believe it was the weapon Vincent used to kill himself. The gun was sold at auction in 2019 for $182,000. This is a watercolor of that gun. The original is in the artist's collection, and not available for sale.
